Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) raised $3.5 million through the first quarter of 2024 for her reelection bid to the U.S. Senate, her campaign announced Monday.
Blackburn raised the funds between her campaign and the Blackburn Tennessee Victory Fund.
In addition, the senator reported to have $8.5 million cash on hand through the first quarter of this year in the Marsha for Senate account.

“Each day I fight to protect Tennesseans and to protect our country. I am so grateful for the generous support we have received that will ensure my ability to continue that fight for another six years,” Blackburn said in a statement.
“Earlier this month, I filed my nominating petition with over 2600 signatures,” Blackburn added. “This is the largest number of signatures ever on a nominating petition. I thank each and every Tennessean who is supporting our campaign, we cannot continue our fight for conservative values without you. Thank you.”
Blackburn, who serves as the Volunteer State’s first elected female U.S. Senator, was first elected to the Senate in 2018, defeating former Governor Phil Bredesen (D) by nearly 11 points.
In this year’s election, Blackburn’s biggest Democrat challengers are environmental activist Marquita Bradshaw and Tennessee State Representative Gloria Johnson (D-Knoxville).
Johnson is one of the “Tennessee Three” lawmakers who commandeered the House floor to demand gun control in the wake of the Covenant School last year.
Blackburn’s campaign has previously spoken out against Johnson, calling the Democrat state representative “as woke as they come.”
“State Rep. Johnson is as woke as they come, and she would be a puppet for Joe Biden, the Squad, and Chuck Schumer in the Senate,” Blackburn’s campaign said.
The Tennessee U.S. Senate primary will take place on August 1, 2024.
